Rob Edmonds

Rob Edmonds has practiced law in Madison County since 1991, concentrating almost exclusively on personal injury matters. He received his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and his law degree from The University of Illinois College of Law at Urbana-Champaign.

Rob spent his first six years of practice defending personal injury cases for insurance companies and corporations. Working for an aggressive and respected Madison County defense firm gave him the opportunity to take a multitude of jury cases to trial and handle numerous appeals. This experience gave him invaluable insight into the methods used by insurance companies and corporate entities in defending claims.

Rob began handling personal injury matters on behalf of plaintiffs and their families in 1997, bringing with him the knowledge gained having worked for the other side. Rob has handled a wide variety of injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, nursing home injuries, medical malpractice claims, and more.

Rob lives in Edwardsville with his wife and fellow lawyer, Ellen, and their two daughters. He enjoys traveling, running, biking, mountaineering, skiing, and fishing.
